What I should have said:

“Why the hell are you yelling at me?  I just caught a fly ball in deep right field! I knew I was going to catch the ball all the way! What I was thinking about was the throw. I knew there were runners on second and third; I expected them to be tagging up. And so I threw the ball home. How could I know that the other team’s third-base coach is a moron and that he had the runners on the move with the crack of the bat and that after I made the catch, they were scrambling back to their bases? I caught the ball! I made the correct throw! Do you want me to be a mind reader too?”

What I actually said:

Nothing.
